This is a 1930s Shirley Temple style girls dress that would work well as a doll dress.  The label reads “A Cinderella Frock Authentic Shirley Temple Style”.  The fabric is made of a semi-transparent yellow organdy fabric that is printed with a pretty white floral pattern.  There are ruffles around the arm openings and the bottom of the skirt is seamed to have the appearance of three flounces.  The dress has a defined waistline that cinches with a blue grosgrain ribbon and the neckline has a matching bow.  The edges of the arm opening ruffles are finished in light blue stitching.  Because the dress is semi-transparent, it would look better with a slip under it.
